Consider adopting from Pawed Pals Animal Rescue. You’ll not only gain a new furry family member, you’ll also save a rescued animal’s life! ♥
We invite you to browse through the profiles of our adoptable cats on this site and to visit them in person at various community adoption fairs held throughout the year. When you’re ready to adopt, our volunteers will be happy to assist you through the process.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age; must complete, sign and submit an application form, and undergo a screening process which includes reference checks, a personal meeting with our adoption coordinator and a site visit to your home at your convenience.
If you are interested in any particular cat or kitten, please indicate their name on your application form. Our adoption coordinator can also recommend a suitable cat after meeting with you.
All adoption applications are subject to approval at the discretion of Pawed Pals Animal Rescue. Our goal is to ensure a suitable permanent home for every rescued cat and kitten. Every adoption decision is made in the best interests of PPAR animals.
Once your application has been approved, we will spend time together with you and the animal you’re interested in adopting – to tell you their story, to answer your questions, and to see you interact. This will most likely take place in their foster home. The first animal you choose isn’t always the one you’ll end up adopting. Our adoption coordinator will help to assess the best match for you and your family.
To finalize the adoption we will require completion of an adoption contract and payment of the adoption fee. Current fees for adoptions:
- Kittens and junior cats (up to 2 years old) $125
- Adult cats (over 2 years and up to 10 years old) $100
- Senior cats (over 10 years old) $80
With approval from PPAR’s Board of Directors, discounts may be granted for cats/kittens adopted in pairs, cats in long-term care or special needs cats.
We do not have pricing for dogs/puppies as our current volunteer membership and other resources are not adequate to rescue, foster and adopt out dogs at this time. We are currently focused only on cats and kittens.
