Puma came into rescue as an owner relinquish – she previously had a litter and had been recently spayed. She is a sweet young (1-3yrs) tabby who primarily lived as an only cat. Due to her shy nature she struggled a bit with integrating in multi-pet homes. However, Puma is a tenacious girl and has come a long way since she came into rescue last fall – a great deal of her progress is due to her loving foster family. When she was able to live as an only cat she would explore her surroundings and was a frequent late night bed-mate for her foster mom. Later she adapted well when she was in the company of both cats and dogs.
Puma is affectionate, playful and timid. In a quieter home Puma would flourish; but with the right introduction she could also be a good candidate for a home with other furbabies. ♥
